Program Running In Background But Not Visible Windows 10
Dec 30, 2009 QuickFix: My program is running, but I can’t see the window on the desktop! So here is Method 0(At least for Windows 10): Right-click the program icon in the taskbar. One of the menu items will be the name of the program. Right click that. Then choose “properties.” On the property sheet that appears, one of the options is “Run.
Not knowing what software you're talking about, we'd just be guessing.E.g.Some programs have an option to open in the same space it was last in. If, for some reason, the program got dragged offscreen (out of sight, out of mind) and the compter was shutdown, it'd start up offscreen until dragged into sight.Of course, your program may not have this option, in which case I've wasted my time typing a reply.Please give at least the minimum information to help us help you.Please let us know if you found someone's advice to be helpful. Thanks for the information.There are still some unanswered questions in my #10 which might help our understanding.If this only happens after the computer has been on for a period of time it could be overheating. In which case ensure all vents are clear of dust. It could need cleaning inside too (heat sinks, fans etc) but with a laptop that might not be so easy to do.If the problems occur almost immediately after a 'cold' start then it is less likely to be overheating. In which case, as you are now mentioning several issues, the only thing I can suggest is System Restore. You would need to have an idea when these issues started to happen and an appropriate restore point available.
